Ms. Porter’s 2nd grade and Mrs. Parks’ 3rd grade classes celebrated the 100thday of school yesterday. The students were put into teams to work together on building tasks using 100 cups, 100 shapes, and 100 cubes. They also had to try to fit 100 “gumballs ”stamped" into a gumball machine, flip a coin 100 times to figure out probability, and roll to 100 to work on their addition skills. Both classes had a ton of fun while working together with students from other classes.
