On Thursday Suardy Blanco, Esmeralda Us Tiquiram and Ms. Richey took a day to explore Sioux Falls. They began with Guatemalan coffee at Starbucks before spending an hour feeding the butterflies at the Butterfly House. Then to the aquarium where Esmeralda got an up close view of the wide variety of colorful fish. Eating lunch at Jacky’s Guatemalan Restaurant was a highlight and personally recommended by Suardy. Following lunch, the trio wandered the High Plains Zoo. Because of the cool weather many animals were inside their enclosures; however, that allowed the trio to warm up between viewings. The day ended with brief stops at the Empire Mall and Scheels.
