Robotics

The robotics competition season has kicked off! The VH Robotics team traveled to Brookings on Sept. 7th for the Kick-off day of this year's robotics challenge. The theme this year is "Off the Grid".  In this year's challenge students must design a robot that is capable of moving debris, fixing downed "power lines", and restoring power to various structures through a simulated game. The students have been working hard on designing, programming, and building the robot for competition day on October 26th in Brookings. In addition, students will be going to the elementary classrooms and local businesses for outreach to educate people on what the goal of this year's competition is. The students are also working on building an educational booth and developing a marketing presentation for the competition. This years Robotics Club members are:
