Engineering Expo

The robotics team traveled to Brookings, SD to compete in the Engineering Expo put on by SDSU. Students have the option of competing in numerous events that include: human wallpaper, photovoltaic cannon, scrambler, bridge builder, mathematics competition physics bowl, impromptu challenge, hillclimber, and rocket car. Makenzie C, Klayton P, Gannon P, Seth D, Mateus K, and Emma M all attended competing in a variety of events. The team of Seth D, Mateus K, and Klayton P were 3rd place medalists in the impromptu design challenge in which the teams are given a goal and supplies while only receiving 30 minutes to build their device. They competed with over 50 teams from Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. They are the first medalists in school history.
