As the children count down the days until Christmas break and the excitement starts mounting we thought that it would be a great time for the Viborg-Hurley Elementary to show off their holiday spirit by dressing for the holidays. During the week of December 16 - 20th the elementary students and staff will be donning their favorite holiday gear. We have chosen the following theme days for next week: (Please don't feel that you have to go out and buy something - just let your creative ideas shine through and help us celebrate the season.)
Monday: Christmas Colors (VHMS - Pajama Day)
Tuesday: Hawaiian Christmas (VHMS - Ugly Sweater Day)
Wednesday: Ugly Christmas Sweater (VHMS - Christmas Movie Day)
Thursday: Santa's Workshop (Santa, Mrs. Claus, reindeer, elf, candy cane etc....) (VHMS - Summer Day)
Friday: Long Winter's Nap (Christmas Pajamas or your favorite flannels) (VHMS - Santa's Workshop Day)
The week will end with Christmas parties in the classrooms and a movie at the Lund with the MS on Friday, December 20th. Thank you to Parson's Insurance and other donors for your generous donation to cover movie expenses.
