The Viborg-Hurley School District would like to welcome several new staff members this year. At the middle school we will be welcoming Mr. Cle Richards and Mrs. Haylee Sherard. Mr. Richards will be teaching 5-8 math, 5th English, 5-6 Study Skills & Technology. Mrs. Sherard will be joining our special education staff as a paraprofessional. She will be working with students on a one-to-one and small group basis. At the elementary/high school building we will be welcoming Ms. Katy DesEnfants, Mrs. Megan Heirigs, Ms. Kathleen Parker and Mrs. Renee Simonsen. Ms. DesEnfants will be teaching K-4 and HS Music, Band, and Choir. Mrs. Heirigs will be our new 9-12 math teacher. Ms. Parker will be our new HS Special Education teacher. Mrs. Simonson will be joining our team of paraprofessionals and she will be working with students in both the elementary and high school end of the building. I hope that each of you will take a minute to stop in and help me in welcoming them to our school and community.
We will also be welcoming back two co-teachers from USD that spent the second semester with our elementary students this past year. Miss Emily Steemken will again be working alongside Mrs. Gayle Johnson in the third grade and Mr. Mason Madsen will again be working alongside Mrs. Marlys Jensen in the fourth grade classroom.
