Carston is a seventh-grade student at Viborg-Hurley Middle School. He is a member of the VHMS Student Council and has participated in football and basketball this school year. Teachers describe Carston as "a great student who is always willing to help out in class and carries a positive attitude. He is polite and respectful to others, prepared to learn every day, and focused on being successful in the classroom."
Peyton has participated in many activities including Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Golf, FCA, NHS, FROG, All-School Play, Band, and Choir.
After high school he plans to attend Mitchell Technical College for Precision Ag.

In his free time, he likes to go golfing with friends and enjoys spending time growing in his faith alongside his friends.
