On November 11th, the 5th-grade class attended a presentation from “Co-Ops in the Classroom”. During this presentation, students learned how electricity is used to make life more convenient and comfortable. Each student had the opportunity to create energy by riding a bike to power a light bulb, as well as acting as a conductor to pass electricity from one person to the next—a big thank you to Jen Gross at Southeastern Electric for a fun and educational lesson.
