In Mrs. Hybertson’s class, the 5th graders had an opportunity to participate in the Americanism poetry contest. The theme was “Happy 250th Birthday, America!” The contest was held by the Davis Auxiliary and local awards were given to the top 2 poems by Brenda Berthelsen. All the 5th graders did a great job and the winners were Sadie Benson in 1st place and Grady Petersen in 2nd place!
