Viborg-Hurley Junior Class is holding a quilt raffle from now until the drawing on February 15th. Tickets are 1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20.00. See poster for additional information on how to purchase tickets. The Viborg Public Library has the quilt displayed for you to see it in person.
The meaning behind the symbols on the quilt:
The star represents the students going from kindergarten to a senior.
The arrow represents going out and reaching for your dreams.
The circles represent and "spell out" social distancing and the pandemic.
The four corners remind you of the foundation on which you started and to hold true to yourself and your beliefs.
The meandering circles around the border represent all people being connected: city, state, country and world.
