During the week of October 29th -November 2nd High School Seniors may apply to three (3) South Dakota Colleges or Tech Schools for Free. You can apply any time during this week on your own or you can stop by the counseling room and Ms. Schmit will help you get started. If you plan on going to a South Dakota College, University, or Tech School sending out applications during this week will save you the usual application fees that apply during the rest of the year, so we encourage you to take advantage of this special offer.
This is also the time that students should start thinking about applying for scholarships as the deadline for some of these is right around the corner. Remember most scholarships require one or more letters of recommendation and you want to give the people you ask time to do a good job on your letter, so ask early.
