5TH Grade: Matter Basics: Physical & Chemical Changes/Scientific Method
The 5th grade students have been working hard in the Science lab this quarter. They are learning the difference between observations and measurements, how to collect and display data, and the basic of matter: physical properties & changes, chemical properties & changes. It has been fun as their teacher to watch them explore the Science lab and to be so excited to do “experiments”! The lab shown below is one based on chemical reactions and how to tell if one has occurred.
