The Viborg-Hurley Student of the Month Program was created to recognize students that go above and beyond in and out of the classroom. These students go above and beyond their role as a student, are prepared for class, exhibit good character, follow school rules, and are a positive role model for others.

“Cara always raises her hand and waits patiently to get called on. She is mature for her age & therefore often helps other students when needed. She is respectful and does not lose focus when others are acting out.”

She is a positive influence on other students and has as cheery personality. She is always willing to stop and have a conversation with any staff or friends. Alyssa has been a catalyst in integrating some of our new students in with students who have been here in years prior. Alyssa has a knack for making everyone feel like they belong and have a place in the school.”
