Earth Day

This coming week all of our schools will be celebrating Earth Day if the weather and Mother Nature cooperate by cleaning up our communities.

On Tuesday afternoon, April 23rd the FFA and middle school students will be cleaning around the school and throughout the community of Hurley.  The FFA will be providing the gloves and trash bags for that day.  Then on the afternoon of Friday, April 26th the High School Student Council and the Elementary Student Council will head up the clean-up day in Viborg.  Elementary grades will be cleaning around the school, the fields, the parks and on Main Street.  The remainder of town has been divided up so up so each class group is responsible for cleaning up trash in their area of town.  The Student Councils will provide gloves and trash bags but if you have work gloves at home and want to send in a pair for your child to wear, please feel free to do so.  We also ask that students dress appropriately for cleaning and we hope the weather cooperates.
