March SOTM

Congratulations to Brewer, Emily, and Maddie for being our March Students of the Month!

Brewer

"Brewer shows what it means to be a Cougar. He displays all of the character pillars that we have learned about throughout the year! He is a hard worker in class and has a growth mindset. He says things like, "I can't do this, YET," and "I want to practice this some more." Brewer looks for opportunities to be kind to his classmates and is always respectful of the adults in the room!"

Emily

Emily is well deserving of Student of the month. She is a great student in the classroom. We rarely see her without a smile on her face, especially when she is interacting with her peers. She shows compassion, respect and is kind to those around her.

Maddie

Madelyn (more affectionately known as “Critter”), is currently a sophomore at Viborg-Hurley and is the daughter of Paul and Michelle Frankus. Maddie participates in softball, volleyball, wrestling, FFA, and HOSA. Her favorite hobbies are cooking, baking, and building things. Maddie’s favorite class is Mr. Knutson’s’ Fundamentals of Ag Structures class because it is fun working on things with my hands. A couple of Maddie’s main accomplishments were placing 8th at the State Wrestling Tournament this year, and being one of the newest members to be inducted in the National Honor Society. Her future plans are to go to SDSU to become a physical therapist.
