The JH GBB tournament scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14th in Hurley has been canceled.
Sorry for the short notice, but just received information that the BB games in Freeman are being moved up. They are going to play girls varsity at 5:00 pm or as soon as possible after 5:00 pm and then follow that with the varsity boys around 6:15 pm to try to get ahead of possible weather. JV games will be played in the small gym - boys at 5:00 pm and girls at 6:15 pm.
Due to incoming weather, JV Boys game will start at 5:00 in the auxilary gym and Varsity girls will be playing at 5 in the main gym. Boys Varsity will play at 6:15 in main gym and JV Girls will play in the auxiliary gym at 6:15.
Winter sports parents/fans- as our winter sports seasons get going please remember- officials are human too! High school sports can’t take place without them and your behavior affects recruitment and retainment of officials. These men and women have studied the rules, have to pass a rules test every year, and participate in officiating clinics and jamborees- they know the rules! If you have ever done it you know it isn’t an easy job. Please think before you act and be good representatives of our district and communities when attending high school events.
