V-H results from the Region 2B Cross-Country meet yesterday at Glenridge: varsity boys- Ben-14th, Wyatt- 31st and Colby-47th; jv boys- Ryder-13th; jv girls- Evelyn- 2nd, Laine- 8th, Winter- 9th and Sierra 28th. Congratulations to Ben on qualifying for the State Meet in Huron on Saturday, October 25th!

There will be a pep rally for the soccer team today in Sterling Hall at Freeman Academy at 3:00 pm. Players, students and parents from all participating schools are invited to attend. The team will leave for Rapid City at 6:45 am on Friday.

Hanson in Hurley starting at 4:00pm; Tuesday- VB JH-Varsity at Avon starting with 7th grade at 4:00pm; Wednesday- Region CC meet at Glenridge starting at noon; Friday- FB at Howard starting at 7:00pm; Saturday- VB at the Thunder Nation Tourney in Lake Andes starting at 9:00am; State Championship Soccer in Rapid City at 11:00 am Central time. GO COUGARS!!

Congratulations to the boys soccer team! They have advanced to the State A Championship game by defeating Vermillion 3-1 on Saturday in Vermillion! Championship on Oct. 18 in Rapid City!

Congratulations to the boys soccer team- they won their opening round playoff game against West Central yesterday by a score of 1-0 with the goal coming with only about 5 minutes remaining in regulation! They will now play at Vermillion at noon on Saturday.

CC Meet Day!

The V-H Booster Club will be sponsoring a meal prior to the start of the FB game on Friday in Hurley.
