Reminder to all Cougar fans- the east side of the HS gym is now the home seating side and the west side will have the opposing fans, team benches and scorer's table. A second reminder- free livestream for all of the home volleyball matches on the NFHS Network. The first home VB match will be Tuesday, Sept. 13th v. G-V.

If you haven't heard V-H, with the help of the Swan Lake Christian Camp, will be hosting a cross-country meet on Monday, Sept. 12th at SLCC. There will be varsity and jv races for boys and girls starting at 3:00pm. We are excited to have a home cross-country meet and hope people will come out to support the cross-country runners!
Tailgate with the Cougars before the football game tomorrow night! The Junior Class will be serving up Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches, Chips, Bars and Water starting at 6:30. Freewill donation.

Cougar fans will be able to watch the livestream for all indoor home events for the 22-23 sports season free of charge on the NFHS Network. If you have it set up as a recurring payment, you may want to end that. Any road games that are on the NFHS Network will still require payment. Our first home event on the NFHS Network will be the VB match v. Gayville-Volin on Sept. 13th.

The Viborg-Hurley/Canistota FB game was chosen for the "Scheels Friday Night Lights" contest. Scheels will randomly pick 1 VH fan to compete against 1 Canistota fan for a $100.00 Scheels gift card. Winners will be chosen right before halftime with the contest taking place at halftime. The contest will involve throwing footballs into a net. All ages are welcome to enter. The Viborg-Hurley School District has an updated COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation Procedures for the 2022-23 school year. Viborg-Hurley Open House at all schools from 5-8pm, Monday, August 22. Buildings will be open to bring in student supplies and visit the classrooms. 5th Grade orientation & tour @ 6:30pm in Hurley. The first day of classes will be Wednesday, August 24th. Classes begin for middle school students @ 8:10am and elementary/high school students @ 8:15am. Viborg-Hurley will have classes on August 24, 25, and 26 during the first week of school with regular dismissal times of middle school @ 3:30pm, elementary @ 3:40pm, and high school @ 3:45pm.
