Missing from my earlier announcement for the list of activities for the week is a C Team tournament at Vermillion on Saturday. Our first match will be at 9:00 AM.

Sports activities for the week starting Sept. 20th: Monday at 4:00 pm cross country in Alcester and JH FB at Hanson; Tuesday 4:00pm JH & HS VB at Menno; Wednesday 1:00pm Cornbelt Conference Cross Country meet at Glenridge; Thursday 4:00pm JH & HS VB v. Centerville in Viborg; Friday JH & Varsity FB at Howard starting at 4:30 pm for JH and 7:00pm for varsity. Sunday's schedule for MS and HS softball still to be determined. Cougar VB will be at the Bridgewater-Emery Invite on Saturday. First match will start at 8:00 AM in Emery against I-W. Second match will be against Chester at noon. Cross-pool games after that. Go Cougars!

B-E in Viborg with 7th grade starting at 4:00; 9-17 HS FB at Hanson at 7:00 pm; 9-18 Varsity VB at B-E Tournament in Emery starting at 8:00 am; and 9-19 HS SB hosts Tri-Valley and Luverne in Hurley starting at 12:30 pm. Unfortunately, we did not receive the minimum of 50 commitments for the discounted NFHS subscriptions this year. Thanks to all those who showed interest. We will work with NFHS for the 22-23 school year to see if the offer can be made then.

In case you haven't noticed the calendar- the HS softball team will be playing in Hurley on Sunday, Sept. 12th and Sunday Sept. 19th with games at 12:30 and 3:30. They are off to a 4-0 start and would greatly appreciate a good crowd of Cougar fans for their first true home games!
There will be a Viborg-Hurley PTO meeting on Thursday, September 9th in the Viborg school lobby at 7:00 PM. Please enter through the elementary wing door (northeast corner). All are welcome to attend.
