The Viborg-Hurley School District will be dismissing students today, March 13th, at 1:30pm. Buses will run where possible.
State Tournament Apparel has arrived! Available for pick-up today in Viborg until 4:30pm, Hurley until 5pm. Tomorrow in both locations from 7:30am - 4pm.
As the state tournament nears, we want to recognize a vital "behind the scenes" member of our team. This month is "Athletic Trainer Appreciation" month and we want to show our appreciation to our athletic trainer, Cathy Petra, for keeping all of our athletes performing at their best. If you happen to see Cathy in Aberdeen over the weekend, please tell her "Thanks" for all she does for our Cougars.

Thank you to the Viborg-Hurley PTO, the Viborg Community Club and the Athletic Boosters for purchasing a new treadmill for the weight room in Viborg. Mitchell & Nevin from Scheels stopped out today and installed it. Thanks guys! It looks great!
A pep rally will be held Monday, March 11th at 6:30 at the Hurley gym for our boys basketball team. Please come help us wish them the best as they head to the State B Tournament.
As our boys will be playing in the State B Tournament next Thursday in Aberdeen, we will not have school on Thursday, March 14th. We will make up the day on Friday, March 22. We will have school all day that day for everyone.
Viborg-Hurley received 100 Adult All Session Tickets and 100 Student Tournament tickets to sell for the State B Tournament. Adult Tickets are $41.00 and Student Tickets are $22.00. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, March 7th from 6:00-8:00 PM at both schools. Each school will have 50 of each type of ticket available for purchase. We are limiting the number of tickets that can be purchased by each individual to 6 so that all those in line have an opportunity to purchase tickets.

Viborg-Hurley boys basketball team will face off against the boys from Northwestern in the SODAK 16 on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:00 in the Corn Palace in Mitchell. There will be no livestreaming of this game.

The Region 5B Boys Basketball game Viborg-Hurley vs. Canistota is scheduled for Friday, March 1 in Hurley at 7:00 PM. We hope to see you there. If you can't make it to the game we do plan to live stream the game tomorrow night.

Mrs. Sherard took FFA Tractor Day to a new level by driving her John Deere 4440 to VHMS today. The students enjoyed seeing a tractor parked outside the classroom windows.
Picture forms are going home w/elementary students today. Forms will also be available at the Middle School and in the office for high school students to pick up. We've always done pictures just in the fall but since we are going through Lifetouch now, they do fall and spring photos.
