Additional fan information for tonight's football game at Elkton:
Fan Attendance: Tier 1- Full attendance, practice social distancing, and masks are recommended but not required. We are asking that Viborg-Hurley fans walk around the track and sit/stand on the bleachers on the south side of the field. If you choose to sit in the grand stand, we ask that Viborg-Hurley fans take the west end of the bleachers. Modified concessions available.
Construction: Buffalo street in front of the school is currently being redone. Parking can be in the lot adjacent to the field, down the back side of the grandstand or along the trees on 7th street (if there is room and no construction equipment.
The Viborg-Hurley School District will be returning to Level 1 Indoor Activity attendance starting on Sunday, October 4th. Open Activity Attendance with the encouragement of facial coverings and social distancing. Viborg-Hurley High School will return to Level 1 Learning starting on Monday, October 5th.
Attendance at all of Thursday night's VB matches v. Baltic will be with a ticket only. Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged. Those who do not have a ticket, or cannot attend, can watch the matches on the NFHS network.

The Viborg-Hurley School District is changing fan attendance for indoor home contests from September 21 – Oct. 2. Outdoor events will stay at open attendance and out-of-district events will follow the hosting districts attendance policies. Each student-athlete/event participant will be issued set number of passes per contest. The visiting opponents will follow the same attendance guidelines. Spectators, including the student body, must have a pass to attend the contest. Social distancing and face coverings will be strongly encouraged by those attending the events.
There will be a pregame meal and lemonade stand available for spectators attending the football game in Baltic tonight. See information attached.

The VB tournament at B-E on 9-19 will have a rolling schedule with the first match of our pool starting at 2:45. Scheduled start time for VH matches are 4:00, 5:15 and 8:15.
Lunchtime Solutions, our school meal provider, would like to communicate with the Viborg-Hurley School Community about current supply issues they are witnessing. The VH District is working closely with Lunchtime Solutions to provide the best possible meal choices for our students.

The updated VH symptom screening checklist does not change the Viborg-Hurley School District's procedures with identified close contacts or positive cases. The District will be continuing to follow CDC/SD DOH guidance on quarantine/isolation periods for individuals who are identified as close contacts or who test positive for COVID-19.

Monday's scheduled JV FB game with Baltic has been cancelled. The JH game will still be played starting at 4:00 in Hurley.
Due to Covid concerns, and by mutual decision of both schools, Friday night's football game has been cancelled. Please check the school website or Facebook page for further updates to the fall sport's schedules.
