Field Trip
Due to the incoming weather, the 2nd & 3rd graders will not be going on their field trip tomorrow. Will try and reschedule.. more info will be sent home with the students when a new date gets scheduled.
There will be no track meet on Friday in Avon due to the weather.
Viborg-Hurley buses will run only on highways from 4/15-18. The west route will run along 291st. There will also be a pick up at Spring Valley Church. Kevin route will run on 452nd Ave and Highway 19 north and south. Davis Route will run on 461st Ave and 291st east of Viborg except where closed. He will also pick up in Davis. If anyone has any questions about pick up points or times please call James Kropuenske at 605-940-2535.

Good Morning, this is Peggy Petersen from Viborg-Hurley Schools. I am calling to let you know that our buses will run on highways and the Coffee road only today. Parents will need to pick up their children at the highway corners or pick up at the school after school tonight.

With the coming of the nice weather, students are allowed to wear shorts starting tomorrow.
Spring sports and school pictures will be taken Wednesday, March 20th. Order forms were sent home with the elementary students a while ago and order forms are in both the Hurley and Viborg office. If you do not send an order form with your child to order pictures, your child will receive a proof of the photo that was taken. At that time you will still be able to order photos online if you would like.
The game time for today's boys basketball game has been changed to 2:00 PM.
The Viborg-Hurley School District will be dismissing students today, March 13th, at 1:30pm. Buses will run where possible.
State Tournament Apparel has arrived! Available for pick-up today in Viborg until 4:30pm, Hurley until 5pm. Tomorrow in both locations from 7:30am - 4pm.
As the state tournament nears, we want to recognize a vital "behind the scenes" member of our team. This month is "Athletic Trainer Appreciation" month and we want to show our appreciation to our athletic trainer, Cathy Petra, for keeping all of our athletes performing at their best. If you happen to see Cathy in Aberdeen over the weekend, please tell her "Thanks" for all she does for our Cougars.

Thank you to the Viborg-Hurley PTO, the Viborg Community Club and the Athletic Boosters for purchasing a new treadmill for the weight room in Viborg. Mitchell & Nevin from Scheels stopped out today and installed it. Thanks guys! It looks great!
A pep rally will be held Monday, March 11th at 6:30 at the Hurley gym for our boys basketball team. Please come help us wish them the best as they head to the State B Tournament.
As our boys will be playing in the State B Tournament next Thursday in Aberdeen, we will not have school on Thursday, March 14th. We will make up the day on Friday, March 22. We will have school all day that day for everyone.
