Parents of athletes- the preparticipation physical exam form and the health history form need to be uploaded to Bound and the other documents that go with the physical need electronic signatures on Bound also. We are not accepting only paper copies. Athletes need to be registered for all sports that they are going to participate in as well. Reminders for home football games- parking inside the fence is limited to those with handicap stickers and limited to the S end of the field. Ticket-taking will start at 6:00 pm. There will be 3 points of entry on the SE & NW corners of the complex as well as the SE corner of the school. Thanks for your cooperation!

CHANGES to the JH/JV FB games scheduled at Canistota - there will NOT be any games on Monday due to the excessive heat. The JH will play at 5:00pm on Tuesday in Canistota. The JV game is canceled.

Cougar FB starts the season with a Cornbelt Conference game at Canistota tonight with kickoff scheduled for 7:00pm. There will be FREE admittance to the game tonight for everyone. The Viborg-Hurley Middle School will be closed to the public from Thursday, August 15 through Monday, August 19th due to the waxing of hallway floors.
The new High School N0-DEVICE policy will be in effect starting effectively August 21, 2024. An informative letter has been sent out to all parents. There will be a parent meeting on August 19th at 7:00 pm for all parents who wish to attend.

Athletic parents - if you are still trying to complete the online registration and having issues, most of the forms involved will just be an electronic signature- so no upload. The actual "preparticipation physical exam form" and the "health history form" will need to be uploaded together after taking a picture of them or scanning them. All athletes in grades 7-12 are required to have an annual athletic physical completed prior to them starting practice for the 24-25 sports seasons. If your son or daughter will be participating in athletics and they haven't had a physical, yet, for this year, please get one scheduled. All physical paperwork should be uploaded on Bound. Impact testing- reminder that all students in grades 7, 9 & 11 planning on participating in athletics during the 24-25 school year will need to have an impact test done. We will have testing at the high school in Viborg on August 6th. 11th grade at 12:30pm; 7th grade at 1:30pm and 9th grade at 2:30pm. Any athlete that had a diagnosed concussion during the 23-24 school year will also have to have a test done. If you have questions contact Mr. Schoenefeld.
We will be switching to online registration and submission of the annual athletic physical paperwork for activities. Registration can be completed on a computer or mobile device. It may take a little time at first, but will be very efficient each time after.
