
The Viborg-Hurley School District will be closed on Monday, March 25 due to the impending weather.

Boys Basketball Welcome Home at the gym in Viborg @ 3pm on Sunday, March 17.

Classic Hits 106.3 FM and 5 Star Streaming on YouTube will be broadcasting the V-H games at State B this weekend with Zac Spear on the call.

Thank you to the Hurley Community Club and Tri-Cross Dairy for funding our SODAK16 student fan bus last week! It was great to provide our students with an opportunity to be in the crowd for the big game.

School Calendar Updates: Viborg-Hurley will have no school on Thursday, March 14 due to the Boys State Basketball Tournament. We will have a 5-day school week from April 22-26 with a regular school day instead of Cougar Friday on April 26.

A boys basketball state tournament community pep rally will be held on Monday, March 11 at 7pm in Hurley.

There will be a Viborg-Hurley Student fan bus traveling to the game in Fort Pierre on Tuesday, March 5th. The bus will leave the Viborg building at 12:45pm and return around 11pm. No cost to ride the bus and adult supervision will be present. Students just need to bring $4 for game admission and extra money for concessions. Cougar BBB will play the Faith Longhorns at 5:00 pm Central time on Tuesday, March 5th at Parkview Gymnasium in Fort Pierre. There will be two livestreams available: vhcougars.liveticket.tv; and 5-Star Streaming with Joe VanGoor on the call. The game will be followed by the game between White River and Highmore-Harrold. Admission prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Go Cougars!

The Viborg-Hurley School District will dismiss classes early on Tuesday, March 5th due to the SoDak16 Basketball game in Fort Pierre starting at 5pm. Dismissal times: Middle School @ 12:15pm and Elementary/High School @ 12:30pm. No Afternoon Preschool.

State Wrestling Recognition & Boys Basketball Pep Rally @ 3pm in the Viborg Gym on Monday, March 4th. The public is invited to attend.

BBB Region 4B continues tonight in Hurley. Doors will open at 5:15 pm. Game one- G-V v. V-H at 6:00 pm followed by Centerville v. Freeman in game two. GWR- a couple other things to celebrate- congratulations to Maddie Feiock on her 8th place finish! Gia's championship win was also the 100th win of her career- congratulations Gia!
