JH football practice for Monday, August 15th has been canceled. There will still be an impact test at 8:00 am on Monday at VHMS in Hurley. JH football practice will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at the scheduled time. Spread the word.

We will have another round of impact testing at the Middle School on Monday morning at 8:00 am for any 6th/7th grade softball players and any 7th grade football players who haven't already tested this month.
MS softball- we are still in need of more registrations to be able to field a team. If interested, please get your registration in as soon as possible.

Physicals offered at the Elem/HS building today from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the conference room across the hall from the library. Impact testing in the Elem/HS lunchroom today starting at 1:30 pm for juniors and any student diagnosed with a concussion last year; 2:30 pm for freshmen and 3:30 pm for 7th graders. No HS or MS athletes can start practice without their approved physical forms turned in.
Cougar fans- some changes are going to be implemented starting with the 2022 volleyball season for home matches in the HS/Elem gym. The scorer's table and team benches are going to move to the west side of the gym. The home fan section is moving to the east side and the visitors to the west side. Please spread the word.
Parents of HS/JH athletes at V-H: You are invited to a short meeting in the lunchroom of the Elem/HS building in Viborg on Wednesday evening August 3rd. The meeting will start at approximately 7:50 pm (after the football parent meeting).
The first day of practices for fall sports is quickly approaching. Reminder that to start practice you need your annual physical completed and the paperwork turned in. Physical day and impact testing will be Tuesday, Aug. 2nd in Viborg. See the calendar for more information.
The start time for the football game at SBA on August 19 will be 5:00 pm.
The Aug 19 FB game at Sunshine Bible Academy will be an afternoon game- possibly as early as 2:00pm. We will let you know as soon as possible once the time is finalized.

The Viborg-Hurley School District is taking applications for Full & Part-Time Paraprofessionals for the 2022-23 school year. The positions will be located in the Viborg location and include competitive pay with benefits. Athletes/parents of athletes for the 2022-23 school year: please mark your calendar for physical day and impact testing on Tuesday, Aug. 2nd. Athletic physicals are required each year for anyone playing jh or hs sports. Physicals need to be done prior to the start of practice. Pioneer Memorial will conduct the physicals from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the school at a cost of $30. Forms are available in the front office of the HS building or by contacting Mr. Schoenefeld. Impact testing for athletes will be conducted in the lunchroom with the following afternoon schedule: Juniors 1:30-2:30; Freshmen 2:30-3:30; 7th graders and any athletes not in grades 9 or 11 who have had a previously diagnosed concussion from 3:30-4:30. The V-H School will be selling the first two sets of varsity BBB uniforms that were worn from the 2010-11 season through the 2016-17 season. Any BBB players who were on the varsity teams during this period will have the first opportunity to purchase items. The cost will be $10 per item.
