Welcome back to the 2019-2020 School Year at Viborg-Hurley! We will have an open house at all school locations from 6:30-8:00 pm on Monday, August 19th with a 5th grade parent meeting starting at 7pm.Schmitt Music will have an instrumental display at VHMS during the open house.
All 7-12th grade girls participating in Fall Softball at Viborg-Hurley need to complete a registration form. The MS and HS forms can be located on the school website under: Documents/Forms/Sports. Please complete the forms and bring them to the Viborg building by August 6th.
The Viborg-Hurley School District will be holding its yearly IMPACT baseline testing for all athletes new to the VH District and in grades 7th, 9th, and 11th on Tuesday, August 6th in Viborg.

July 31-Aug. 1 – HS Wing & Hallway by Lunchroom
Aug. 1-2 – Library Hallway
The hallways will be off limits while the floor waxing is taking place. If you need access to the building, please plan accordingly.

Pioneer Memorial is offering Student Sports Physicals for $30 at their locations in Viborg, Parker, or Centerville.
There will be no breakfast or lunch served tomorrow, May 23, 2019.
No, we aren't having a rummage sale, but if your child's closet looks like it is missing some clothes... I just might know where they are at. ;-) The Lost & Found Table is up in front of the office in Viborg. Please take a look and have your child look to see if any of these items can find their way back home. It will be up until the end of this month. After May 31st, everything left will be donated.
Reminder any medications you sent to school for your child, need to be picked up by a parent/guardian. Any medication not picked up by May 31st will be disposed of. Also low lunch balance notices are being mailed today. These need to be cleared up by the the last day of school. High school and middle school students will not be able to be checked out for the summer until any negative lunch balance is taken care of and elementary students will not be able to participate in "Cougar Day" on the last day of school. Any money left on the lunch account will be carried over to next school year. Check with Donna or Becky if you have any questions. 4 days left!!!!
Reminder - As the end of the school year draws near, please rememember that we recycle dried out markers of any kind and also old crayons. These can be brought to the office. Also please remember to send your box tops & pop tabs in w/your students as well.
A sunny day has finally arrived for the soccer goals to be put to good use.
The soccer goals finally arrived, the elementary and high school student councils along with Mr. Knutson were able to get them put together last Friday. And boy the kids are excited. Today the sun is finally shining and they can really test them out. Thanks to the student councils, Mr. Knutson and to those individuals who donated. The students love them!
Dual Credit Information Night at Viborg-Hurley High School 6:00 PM tonight. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Tom Mann Track Meet scheduled for Saturday April 27th in Chester has been cancelled.
Muffins with Mom forms are being sent home with the elementary students this week. Please note that the date for Muffins with Mom is WEDNESDAY, May 8th (not Thursday, May 8th). Please RSVP for this event by Wednesday, May 1st. Thank you to the PTO for sponsoring this event!
Viborg-Hurley Sports Physicals are scheduled for May 15th at both Viborg and Hurley buildings starting at 8:30 am. The forms are available online or you can pick one up at the school office. Physicals will not be done without all the appropriate parent/guardian signatures.
